Sound familiar?

You know the symptoms.
We’ll investigate the cause.

You don’t need to diagnose the problem before you call. Describe what you’ve noticed, even if it’s simply “it doesn’t sound right”.

01 / HEATING

No heating or
hot water

Whether the whole system has stopped or just one part isn’t working, tell us what you still have and what you’ve lost.

02 / PRESSURE

Pressure that
keeps dropping

If you keep having to top the system up, the reason needs investigating. Let Oliver know how often it happens.

03 / FAULT CODES

A warning on
the display

A fault code or repeated lockout is a useful clue. A clear photo of the display can help explain the problem.

04 / LEAKS

Drips where
they shouldn’t be

Water around the boiler, cylinder or heating pipework needs attention. Tell us where it is and whether it’s getting worse.

05 / COMFORT

Rooms that
won’t warm up

Cold radiators or uneven heating can have different causes. Mention which rooms are affected and when it started.

06 / CONTROLS

Heating with
a mind of its own

If the heating won’t respond to your thermostat or schedule, explain what you’re asking it to do and what happens instead.

These symptoms can have several causes. An inspection may be needed before a diagnosis or repair cost can be confirmed.

From problem to plan

Less guesswork.
More clarity.

A repair starts with understanding the fault. The aim is to find out what’s wrong, explain what’s needed and help you make an informed decision.

  1. Start with what you know.

Share your postcode, appliance details and the symptoms. Oliver can confirm whether he can help with your system and discuss availability.

  2. Arrange an investigation.

Confirm the visit details and any diagnostic or call-out charge before booking. The fault needs to be assessed before the right repair can be recommended.

  3. Understand your options.

Discuss the findings, proposed work and costs. If parts are needed, availability may affect when the repair can be completed.

  4. Agree the next step.

Once the work is agreed, the repair can be arranged and operation checked afterwards. Some faults need a return visit or further investigation.

Make the first call easier

A few details.
A useful head start.

Have these to hand if you can. Don’t worry if you’re unsure of the model or can’t find the paperwork.

A photo of the outside of the appliance or its display is useful. There’s no need to remove covers or touch internal parts.

  • Your postcodeSo Oliver can check whether a visit can be arranged.
  • The applianceMake, model and fuel type, if you know them.
  • What’s happeningFault codes, symptoms and when the problem started.
  • Recent changesAny recent work, servicing or change in how the system behaves.

Before you get in touch

Good to know.

Can you come out today?

Call Oliver to check current availability. Explain if you have no heating or hot water so he understands the situation. A same-day visit cannot be assumed until it has been confirmed.

Can you tell me the cost before visiting?

Some problems need an on-site diagnosis before the repair can be priced. Confirm any diagnostic or call-out charge when booking, then discuss the cost of the recommended repair once the cause is understood.

Do I need a repair or a service?

If something isn’t working properly, start with a repair enquiry. Servicing is routine maintenance and may not resolve an existing fault. If your system is working and simply due its regular check, visit our servicing page.

Will the repair be completed on the first visit?

That depends on the fault, the appliance and whether parts are needed. Some work may be possible during the initial visit; other repairs need parts to be ordered or further investigation. Ask Oliver what to expect once the problem has been assessed.

What if replacing the boiler makes more sense?

The condition of the appliance, parts availability and repair cost can all affect the decision. If replacement is worth considering, discuss the options before committing to work. You can also explore our installation service.

Can I enquire about a heat pump or hot-water cylinder?

Yes. Share the make, model and symptoms so Oliver can confirm whether he can support that particular system and fault. Different equipment can require different specialist checks, so it helps to establish this before arranging a visit.

Let’s get your
comfort back.

Tell Oliver what’s gone wrong.
We’ll take the next step from there.
